Recently GoodFellaz TV was in the studio with one of the most buzzed-about artists in the streets right now, 2 Chainz (formerly Titi Boi of Playaz Circle), to hear cuts off his upcoming New Mixtape “T.R.U. REALiigion hosted by DJ Drama. In front of a select audience of key Tri-State DJ’s & Tastemakers, 2 Chainz played several cuts off the new project during his listening session held at the world-famous ‘Daddy’s House” recording studio in NYC. And we have to say, the GoodFellaz were extremely impressed with what we heard.
Hailing from Atlanta, GA, 2 Chainz has been in the game for a minute, first gaining notoriety after being featured on Ludacris debut album “Back For the First Time”. A long-time Disturbing the Peace (DTP) member, he has contributed numerous classic verses not only on various Ludacris projects, but also released 2 albums as one half of the rap-dup “Playaz Circle”, who were most well known for their smash hit single “Duffle Bag Boy” featuring Lil’ Wayne.
Now going the independent route, along with a name change, 2 Chainz has got the streets of ATL on fire right now, killin’ ’em with hood-anthems including “Riot Music” & “Spend It” and many more. One of our favorite cuts of his upcoming project, which will be dropping November 1st, is the streets-certified “One Day At A Time” featuring Jadakiss. Other notable guest appearances include Raekwon, Birdman, Young Jeezy and Kreayshawn.
