Recently the GoodFellaz attended the listening session for R&B singer Case and his upcoming album “Heaven’s Doors”. Held at Engine Room Studios in NYC, a select crowd of tastemakers were invited to preview tracks from his latest project, which is set to drop everywhere March 31st on eOne Music.
While poppin’ bottles of Bel Air Rose with the crowd, Case played several tracks off his newest LP, and we have to say: we were very impressed with what we heard. The sound of his new music was vintage R&B, full of catchy hooks and infectious melodies.
When speaking to the audience about the inspiration behind his new music, Case had this to say:
I felt like the love was missing from R&B- it’s been missing from ‘Black Music’ period- and I wanted to make a classic, old-school R&B song.”
