Congratulations to Dr. Dre for taking the #1 spot on the Forbes Magazine “Hip Hop Cash Kings” List for 2012. That’s right, the D-R-E surprisingly snatched the top spot this year earning a whopping $110 Million last year; mostly due to the sale of his popular “Beats by Dre” headphone line to HTC, which paid him $300 million for a 51% share of the company.
Longtime “Forbes List” member Diddy came in at #2, raking in over $45 million last year, mostly from his stake in the mega-popular Ciroc vodka line, while Jay-Z landed at the number three position netting over $38 million.
Even more shocking this year, new-comer Mac Miller debuted on the list at #19 netting over $6.5 Mil, while Rick Ross ‘out-hustled’ former nemesis 50 Cent, earning $9 million vs. 50’s $7.5 million. Rounding out the Top-5 List this year are Kanye West at #4 with $35 million, and Lil Wayne at the #5 spot with $27 million. Check out the full list below, courtesy of GoodFellaz TV.
