Frank Ocean reveals he is gay?!? That’s right, with all the hype surrounding Frank Ocean’s upcoming debut album “Orange Channel“, due to hit stores July 17th on Def Jam Records, it seems as if Frank Ocean has decided to ‘come out of the closet’, revealing recently that he was indeed gay via his Tumblr.
There had been some speculation recently over “Mr. Novacane’s” sexual orientation after several tracks off his new project were debuted to the press recently. After hearing some of the new tracks, one ‘anonomous’ reporter had this to say regarding Frank Ocean’s music:
“On the songs ‘Bad Religion’, ‘Pink Matter’ and ‘Forrest Gump’ you can hear him sing about being in love and there are quite obvious words used like ‘him’ and not ‘her’.”
So apparently Mr. Ocean decided to ‘clear the air’, releasing a letter via his tumblr page that confirmed he was gay, stating:
“4 summers ago I met somebody. I was 19 years old. He was too. We spent that summer and the summer after together everyday almost…”
What do you guys think about Frank Ocean revealing that he is gay? Are you any more or less likely to buy his album when it hits stores, or does it even matter to YOU?? Check out the letter below courtesy of GoodFellaz TV.
