DJ’s I understand you gotta play for the crowd…
But check it, the crowd should be dancing to your beat anyway and NOT only dancing to what they hear only on radio. We need more soundtracks for our lives and the DJ provides that in conjunction with great music from artist. Don’t be afraid to Break a new record from a new artist cause most likely its better than whats familiar.
The club game is changing and the audience is getting younger…
We need to create more nostalgia in the club, separate the demographic to keep those who were born in 1990 partying with those who were in high school those years. Create more themes around your parties. Independent ladies been in the house with the real hair so long they got reality shows now.
The Club is supposed to be a place where the working man & woman goes to relieve themselves of the stress of everyday life….
Less and Less men are going to the clubs because of ill treatment and modern day Jim Crow laws that clearly exist in the club. I’ve been to clubs where everyone was rushing to get into VIP and no one is on the dance floor. Everybody is somebody when they walk to the bouncer whose clearly not tying to hear stories from people putting money in his pocket. Clubs today, feed off bad pub to get more traffic. I mean, Greenhouse in NYC told a decorated soldier, who was having a night out on the town, that he couldn’t enter the club in Uniform. The man left Afghanistan to defend freedom and some chick in a clipboard says no? Make the people feel great and encourage your club owners to stop acting like they doing the community a favor by overpricing its customers on every aspect.
