This weeks “Hot Chick of the Month” is New Jersey’s own Rachel Rose. The smokin’ hot Dominican and Puerto Rican beauty is a double-threat; she is a Model & Radio Personality on the popular Internet Radio Station http://www.clubzone.fm/.
Recently GoodFellaz TV’s own Tommy Gunz & Big A sat down with the super-hot, super-talented Rachel Rose at NJ’s hottest mall, the Garden State Plaza Mall, where we talked about everything: Modeling, Radio, Turn-On’s, Dating and “enhancing curves” . Check out the interview below.
Q: Well first things first, we gotta say you’re definitely smokin’ hot Rachel. What’s your nationality?
A: Why thank you. I am Puerto Rican and Dominican.
Q: Now that’s a nice mix. Where are you from?
A: I’m from Elmwood Park, NJ.
Q: So how long have you been modeling for?
A: I’ve been modeling for about 2 years. First it started off as fun, I started doing car shows and stuff. Then after a while I started taking it more serious, doing different events. I love taking pictures. I’ve always seen myself in the industry. It’s a lot of work. You need to know bout photography, fashion, etc.
Q: So what’s the Worst part about the Modeling game?
A: One thing I hate about it is the pressure. Sometimes its “all eyes on you”, and some people think you had to do something scandalous to get where you are, and I’m not like that at all.
Q: So the fellaz want to know, Single or Taken?
A: I’m Taken (Laughs). Honestly it is a little pressure dating and modeling at the same time, but he knew what he was getting into when we first got together. For the most part it’s all good.
Q: What’s your sign?
A: I’m a Sagitarious baby (fist pumps).
Q: Besides being a Model, you’re also a Radio Personality as well. Tell us more about your show?
A: Yes I am. Me and my girl Brooke have a show on ClubZoneFM.com Radio, the “Everybody Hates Monday” Show which we do every Monday 6-8 pm. We’ve been doing the show for about a year. The show is very interactive, we dance on air and everything (laughs).
Q: So let’s talk music for a minute, who are you feeling musically right now?
A: I’m feeling J Cole right now. I would love to meet him and give him props, because he makes good music. Let me see. I’m honestly not really feeling Lil Wayne’s new music. I am feeling Wale. Of course I can’t forget about my reggaeton. I love Ivy Queen, Daddy Yankee and Don Omar; they will always be my favorites.
Q: Ok, let’s switch topics. What are some of your Turn-on’s about the opposite sex??
A: Ha-ha, my Turn-on’s, let me see. I like rugged but clean-looking guys. I love Tats. I love when a guy can dress, he has to be able to dress. And of course a guy has to have swag.
Q: No doubt. So what are some of your Turn-off’s?
A: Wow my turn off’s (laughs). I would have to say, I hate guys who don’t cut their nails. I don’t like guys who wear sandals and their feet are messed up (gags). My biggest turn-off is a guy who’s always on me. I need my space. Like I said before, a dude has to have swag. And If you can’t make me laugh or carry a conversation, its a wrap.
Q: Speaking of Turn-off’s, what was the Worst Date you’ve ever been on?
A: OMG, the worst first date, wow (laughs). Ok, so this guy took me to his friends house, and it smelled, it was dirty, there was beer everywhere. It was originally supposed to be a dinner-date with friends, but it turned into a weird house party. No bueno (thumbs down).
Q: What advice do you have for other chicks trying to get into the Modeling game?
A: Ummm, my advice would be to just be yourself, know what you’re getting into, know what you really want, and to remember that you’re constantly going to be judged, so don’t waste anybodys time if this isn’t really what you want to do.
Q: So what makes Rachel Rose feel extra sexy?
A: Good question. I gotta say my Heels make me feel extra sexy. If I could wear heels all day, everyday I would. I feel like they definitely enhance the curves (winks).
Q: No doubt. The GoodFellaz are all about ‘enhancing the curves’ (laughs). So what Can’t you live without?
A: I can’t live without my phone. Everytime I think I lose my phone, I almost have a panic attack (covers eyes). Without my phone I think I’d really lose it (laughs).
Q: So Fashion-wise, what’s hot for the ladies right now?
A: Hmmm. I’m real big on combat- boots right now. Me personally I love edgy stuff. I’m obsessed with ‘pin-up girls’, I love their style and how their make-up is always on point.
Q: No doubt. So what’s NOT a good look for the ladies fashion-wise in 2011?
A: OMG where do I begin (laughs). Well wearing the weird leggings and shorts with boots is not a good look to me at all. Super-tacky!
Q: Who would be your Celebrity Crush?
A: Let me see (smiles). I guess I would say Trey Songs and this new rapper named “The Illz”.
Q: Do you have any Tattoos?
A: Yes I have a couple of tats; One on my wrist and one on my side that says “Live the Dream”.
Q: That’s what’s up! So tell us a Funny Fact about you that most people wouldn’t know?
A: Hmmm a funny fact about me (laughs). Well I say the most random things sometimes (laughs). And I swear I have another personality too, an alter-ego or something.
Tommy Gunz: Well hopefully your alter-ego is single (laughs).
Rachel: (laughs). She might be. Oh wait, I have another fact. I used to be a tom-boy back in the day, real talk (laughs).
Big A: No way?? I don’t believe it.
Rachel: I’m so serious.
Q: Are you more of Party-head or Homebody?
A: Hmmm, well I guess you could say I’m a lil bit of both. But real talk I luv to party (laughs).
Q: No doubt. Do you drink?
A: (laughs). Do I drink?? A little bit. I will say this though: Alcohol always makes the party better (laughs).
Big A: Yes it does (laughs)
Q: So tell us about any upcoming projects you have in the works?
A: Let see, I got the radio show every-week. I also have a big photoshoot coming up as well. I got a few things in the works that I’m excited about.
