My morning thoughts on the recent Cop shootings: I’m not surprised. Saddened, but not surprised
I said it during the Ferguson situation, America needs to start holding these Cops responsible for their actions and taking these deaths caused by Police seriously.
The rotten apples are not being picked from the tree and now people are so tired of rotten apples they are trying to take an axe to the tree. Loss of life, no matter the color is disheartening, but these “Where’s the outrage” posts are literally like pouring gasoline on a forest fire.
I support and pray for Police officers who do their job with integrity and professionalism and wish no harm on any of them. But the people of this country will no longer stand by and turn their heads to this culture of police violence that has existed in the country for centuries.
The time to act and bring all parties to the table is now. There needs to be serious changes and progress made when it comes to police accountability and until that happens, I fear you will see more death and destruction.
