James Bond had a ‘license to kill’ this weekend at the box office, taking the #1 Spot with the latest film in the series “Skyfall”.
Starring current Bond-guy Daniel Craig, “Skyfall” is the 23rd film in the mega-popular James Bond franchise. In it’s weekend debut, the new film left its box office competition ‘shaken, not stirred’, grossing an impressive $87.8 million; making it the biggest James Bond opening EVER! Furthermore, “Skyfall” posted the fourth-best opening weekend of 2012, behind only “The Avengers” “The Dark Knight Rises” and “The Hunger Games”.
