Recently Rick Ross hit the stage at the Best Buy Theater in NYC to celebrate the release of his latest album “MasterMind”, and of course the GoodFellaz were in the building!

During the course of the concert, Rozay brought out a special surprise-guest Busta Rhymes, who quickly took the mic and performed a couple of his classic joints, to the delight of the NY crowd in attendance. Afterwards Busta spoke to the crowd, giving props to Ross:

I just want to say this. Rick Ross is one of my favorite MC’s of all time. I don’t say that sh#t too often. But I’m saying that about my bro! ‘Cuz from one MC to another MC… When you listen to a n#gga, that make you wish you said the shit that he said, then you know that n#gga is on his job! There’s several lines that Rick Ross got, that I really wish I said!”

That’s right, in a busy week of releases, Rozay snatched up his fifth #1 Album with the release of “MasterMind”, debuting at the top spot on the Billboard 200 Charts with an impressive 184,726 copies sold in first week sales. The Boss beat out Pharrell’s new album “G I R L”, which debuted at #2 and moved a better-than-expected 110,090 albums in its first 7 days on the shelves. And Ashanti’s “Braveheart” LP also dropped last week as well, moving 23,196 units.

So on behalf of the GoodFellaz, congratulations to our homie Rick Ross for another #1 Album! Moving units like a BOSS!!! lol
