Introducing: Azad Music

Azad Watches of NYC, the former lead sponsor of the the Brooklyn Barclays Center, has now expanded to become the next big thing in Hip Hop: Azad Music. Located in the heart of New York City’s Diamond District, Azad has built a luxurious studio for it’s new creative team including Soope, Joell Ortiz, Fred the Godson and legendary artist AZ. Together with the return of AZ, Azad Music is set to take over in 2019.

Soope, a midwest native known for his lyrical ingenuity, vowed that in the new year he would be releasing  new music every month, accompanied by videos that will showcase the team’s creativity.

Azad Music’s first collaborative release is entitled “Ain’t No Sunshine”, which features Soope, Joell Ortiz and Fred the Godson. The song is just a preview of the greatness to come, with visuals that resemble a polished web series.

The Doughboy Project aka DJ Doughboy has been a staple in the New Jersey music scene for many years. As a producer, he alongside his team The OG’s have been considered by many to be among the pioneers of the popular Jersey Club music movement. He’s toured the world with Joe Budden, and has lended his talents to a variety of artists over the years including Queen Latifah, Naughty By Nature, Maino, Vado, DJ Self, MariahLynn, Rick Ross, and Fabolous, among others.

His debut EP, the critically acclaimed “Introduction”, was featured in the ‘Huffington Post’ and gained the New Artist Spotlight on Tidal. Produced by Murda Beatz and featuring a sample of Lauren Hill’s classic “Ex Factor“, the new record is the next single from Drake’s as-of-yet untitled upcoming album, and is the follow-up to the #1 single “God’s Plan”, which has been dominating the Billboard Charts for the last 2 months.

The smokin’ hot Cayman-born beauty, Ms. Ebanks has been a Victoria’s Secret ‘Angel’, and has worked campaigns for high fashion brands including Neiman Marcus and Ralph Lauren. She’s also appeared in numerous magazines including Sports Illustrated (their ‘Swimsuit Issue’), Vogue, and Glamour, among others.

The beautiful Selita Ebanks owes her exotic features to her unique ancestry; being of Native American, Irish and African descent, with a Jamaican father and a Caymanian mother. Talk about an amazing mix! After growing up in the Cayman Islands, she later relocated to the U.S. to pursue a career in fashion. Eventually Selita made a name for herself working with Victoria’s Secret, becoming one of their most popular and sought-after models. She was even chosen to model a V.S. bra that retailed for $4.5 million and was made of emeralds, diamonds, rubies and yellow sapphires. Now that is an expensive piece of lingerie!

In addition to starring in several music videos, most famously the Kanye West “Runaway” visual, she also gained notoriety after being engaged to Nick Cannon for 5 months, and dating BET’s Terrence J for over a year.

Award-winning Hip-Hop artist and entrepreneur,  Bronx native Mala Reignz is one of the latest phonemes to grace the industry. Declared “Unsigned Hype” by The Source Magazine, and “Flava of the Month” by Straight Stuntin’ Magazine, Mala has burst onto the mainstream Hip-Hop scene and people are taking notice. The “Views” just keep getting better for Drake.

That’s right, Drizzy’s fourth studio album (not including his 2015 mixtapes “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” & “What A Time To Be Alive” f/ Future) is officially triple platinum, having accumulated over 3 million sales and equivalent album-streams since it’s release on April 29th of this year.

Despite the some-what tepid reviews from some critics upon its release, “Views” has proven to be perhaps the album of the summer; with over 10 weeks at the #1 spot on the charts, as well as the #1 single in the country “One Dance” f/ Kyla & Wiz Kid. With 2 other singles dominating the airwaves (“Controlla” f/ Beenieman & “Too Good” f/ Rihanna), as well as being on one of the biggest tours of the year with his “Summer Sixteen” show, the rapper/singer has had quite an impressive year.

And hey, hooking up with Rihanna is not a bad way to spend your summer either, lol

On top of that (metaphorically speaking, lol) he also recently released a new “Childs Play” short-film featuring Tyra Banks, which you can watch below. And if that wasn’t enough, Drizzy also announced that he would be droppin’ another short film entitled “Please Forgive Me” on September 30th. Does this guy ever sleep?
