Not content to be just a famous-rappers-girlfriend, Amber Rose has been making serious moves so far in 2012. The 28-year old Video-model-turned-entreprenuer is currently the face (ass..lol) of Smirnoff Vodka, and has now entered the music world; droppin her debute single “Fame” featuring her main-squeeze Wiz Khalifa.

In a recent interview with RapFix, Amber Rose had this to say about her new song:

“The song represents the ups and downs of fame and lets people know that it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. I have my own unique sound, I make music that I love and I hope that my fans and the people that embrace me will love it also!”

According to Ms. Rose, although her current-boyfriend Mr. “Black-n-Yellow” was a factor in her pursuit of a musical career, she revealed that Wiz didn’t even hear her song until after its completion, stating:

“I made the entire song and then sent it to him, he was overseas on tour at the time. He thought the track was dope and I asked him if he would be on it, he said definitely.”

Word-on-the-street is that an Amber Rose full-length album is in the works, although no release date has been set. When asked, she had this to say regarding the project:

“I’ve taken vocal lessons and I’m working on my album, but right now I’m in the beginning phases and I’m just taking my time,”
