Check out the GoodFellaz TV ‘New Heat of the Week’ from NY’s own Jay Varcity entitled “Nothin’ Given” below. Hailing from Rockland County, New York, the producer-turned-artist has been generating a huge buzz both in the streets and across the ‘net with this 1st single off his upcoming album.
Previously known for his production work, his soulful, caribbean-inspired sound has been featured on numerous projects over the last couple of years, most recently on MMG artist Scotti Boi’s “Swanky Music: Vol. 1” and his own solo album “No Features”, among others. Garnering himself the nickname “the Haitian Kanye West”, Jay Varcity is now ready to show the music world what he can do from the other side of the boards, as he prepares his new studio LP.
