The Hip Hop Police Straike Again!! Their latest victim,  former Dip-Set capo Jim Jones.

The Crimes: Illegally parking his car outside of his house, and (gasp) failure to remove snow in front of his house… lol

That right, the CSI-like-minds of the  Fair Lawn, NJ  police force, where Jim Jones has a home, recently arrested him after he “got out of line” with an officer who was handling a parking complaint in front of the home, according to police.

Jones was booked and charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction after the officer ran his plates and found out he had 2 outstanding warrants. These warrants were allegedly for the heinous crimes of failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, and even more serious offense of failure to remove snow from his sidewalk.

This is where our tax-dollars are going??

Supposedly Sgt. James Corcoran of the Fair Lawn police was in the process of having Jimmy’s “snowbound and illegally parked car”, which was parked outside of his home, towed. When confronted, Jones agreed to remove the vehicle from the roadway and pay the towing fee. However when the officer then asked Mr. “Love & Hip Hop” to go with him to police station to pay the warrants, Jones denied their existence and “became disorderly”, leaving Sgt. Corcoran no choice but to place him under arrest.

He obviously left them ‘no choice’…

Jim Jones was later released after posting bail for the warrants. Three was no word on whether or not he will learn his lesson, and keep his side-walk shoveled from now on… lol

Score another victory against crime for the Hip Hop Police! lol..

Ayyyyyyy !!! Recently Juelz Santana & Olivia came to Queens, NY and put on a classic show at the legendary Club Amazura. The event, put together by IndieElite Promotions & RespectDaGrind, also featured some of the Tri-State’s hottest up-and-coming talent who opened up for Olivia & Juelz.

Reppin’ for all the ladies in attendance, Olivia put on a great performance, showcasing her often slept-on vocal abilites. With the females singing along as she performed her classic hits, she also spoke on the upcoming season of “Love & Hip-Hop”, promising a “very entertaining” upcoming season.

After Olivia’s set, Dip Set’s own Juelz Santana came on stage and had the crowd going crazy. The Harlem rapper, who is rumored to be in the studio working on his highly anticipated album “The Reagan Era: Born To Lose, Built To Win”, performed classic joints including “Dip Set Anthem”, his “Swag Surfin'” remix and more for the audience. The sold-out Summer Jam 2011 concert went down Sunday June 5th at the Meadowlands Stadium in NJ, and of course GoodFellaz TV was on the scene. Anyone who has ever been to Summer Jam before knows that half the fun is outside of the event, where hundreds of people come to tailgate, chill, and mix & mingle.

The actual concert also did not disappoint. Although lacking the big name surprise appearances or shocking beef incidents of years past, the show was definitely entertaining from start to finish. The artist line-up this year included Wiz khalifa, Wacka Flocka, Lloyd Banks, Fabolous, Chris Brown, Dip Set, Lil Wayne, Lil Wayne, Drake & Rick Ross. Other surprise guests included Mobb Deep, Diddy, Jeremih, Busta Rhymes and Ryan Lesli, among others.

Highlights from the concert included Lloyd Banks, who had one of the better performances that night, bringing out Mobb Deep, Lloyd, Jeremih, Swizz Beatz & Juelz Santana. Also Chris Brown had the ladies in a frenzy as he performed his set. One of the highlights from his show was bringing out Busta Rhymes for “Look At Me Now”. The Dip Set reunion was also another highlight of the evening, as Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Freekey Zekey & Vado all hit the stage to perform their hits. Cam & Vado’s “Speaking In Tungs” was a big hit, and Maino & Travis Porter came out as well during their performance.

The highlight Summer Jam 2011 was Lil Wayne & Young Money’s performance & Rick Ross, who was the last act. Highlights from their set included “Bed Rock”, “6 ft, 7ft” with Weezy & Cory Gunz, and the debut of a new song from Lil Wayne called “How To Love”. The hottest song of the whole concert was definitely “I’m On One” where DJ Khaled, Drake & Rick Ross came out along-side Lil Wayne. It was also a good set-up for Rick Ross set.

The boss Ricky Rosay was the last act of the night, and he did not disappoint. He did all of his hits from “Hustlin” to “9 Piece”. Highlights from his set include “I’m Not a Star” with Wayne and the “Hustle Hard” remix where Ace Hood came out. Summer Jam 2011 was definitely a great night for hip hop. And lets not forget the GoodFellaz TV Street Team, who literally shut down every other record label on the promotions-tip. Check out photos and footage from Summer Jam below.
