Ayyyyyyy !!! Recently Juelz Santana & Olivia came to Queens, NY and put on a classic show at the legendary Club Amazura. The event, put together by IndieElite Promotions & RespectDaGrind, also featured some of the Tri-State’s hottest up-and-coming talent who opened up for Olivia & Juelz.

Reppin’ for all the ladies in attendance, Olivia put on a great performance, showcasing her often slept-on vocal abilites. With the females singing along as she performed her classic hits, she also spoke on the upcoming season of “Love & Hip-Hop”, promising a “very entertaining” upcoming season.

After Olivia’s set, Dip Set’s own Juelz Santana came on stage and had the crowd going crazy. The Harlem rapper, who is rumored to be in the studio working on his highly anticipated album “The Reagan Era: Born To Lose, Built To Win”, performed classic joints including “Dip Set Anthem”, his “Swag Surfin'” remix and more for the audience. Part of the Apple Store concert-series, R&B vixen Olivia will be performing for FREE, as well as Def Jam/DTP’s newest sensation Rudy Currence. A must attend event for any R&B fan.

Beyonce

WHERE: Rumsey Playfield, Central Park (72nd Street)

The “Good Morning America’ concert series present the one-and-only Beyonce LIVE in Central Park for FREE. This is an EARLY event, And it is Beyonce, so GoodFellaz TV recommends that you get there for the best view around 5 to 6 am. You do not need tickets to see the show. The show starts 7am sharp, and will be seen on TV. It’s first come, first serve until capacity is reached. This is one events you do NOT want to miss.

Raekwon, Smif-n-Wessun & Joel Ortiz

WHERE: Prospect Park Bandshell , Brooklyn, NY (9th Street & Prospect Park West)

The Ruler Slick Rick shows love to the birthplace of hip-hop, the Bronx, for a FREE concert. Since dropping his classic debut album “The Adventures of Slick Rick”, Slick Rick has established himself as a hip-hop legend. This is one event you can’t miss.

Ryan Leslie

WHERE: Marcus Garvey Park, Harlem, NY (120th to 124th Streets)

R&B singer Ryan Leslie will be performing in Harlem in August 11^th . The Grammy-nominated artist will be doing all his hits at this FREE event, so fellaz make sure you bring your special lady with you; after watching Ryan Lesli perform, you might just get lucky that night! Lol

Rakim & EPMD

WHERE: Central Park Summer-Stage NYC (69th Street & 5th Ave)

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the legendary Eric B & Rakim “Paid in Full” album, Rakim will be performing for FREE during the “Summer-Stage” series that’s held in Central Park, NYC. Also performing will be the legendary group EPMD, & hosted by Funkmaster Flex. This is one event that any true hip-hop fan will not want to miss.

Cee-Lo Green, Jay Electronica & Janelle Monae

WHEN: Sat-Sun August 27 & 28
WHERE: Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn, NY (266 Nassau Street)

The 7^th annual “Afro-punk Festival” in Brooklyn, NY will feature performances from Janelle Monae, Cee-Lo Green, Santigold, Jay Electronica, and more during the course of the weekend. The FREE festival will also feature the largest skate & BMX-bike competition in NYC, as well as a custom bike show. If you are a music lover or skate/bike aficionado, this is one event you must be in attendance for.

Recently, Miss Mekalia of GoodFellaz TV was in the building for all the nervous energy, arguments, tears and stage walk-offs during the filming of the “Love and Hip Hop Reunion Show” hosted by radio veteran Angie Martinez.  The show stars Chrissy, girlfriend of Jim Jones; Olivia, self -proclaimed dater of Darrelle Revis and former G-Unit singer; Somaya Reece, an actress and former video girl who is pursuing her music career; and Emily, the “girlfriend” that rapper Fabulous has never claimed publicly, and also, the mother of his son.
 
The set was small and intimate, allowing the audience to interact with all of the stars of the show and they did not disappoint their fans. In between takes, the ladies posed for pictures and engaged in conversations with the audience.  The show was explosive.  I can’t give away all the juicy details but here are few things that I know you won’t want to miss: Somaya and Rich (Dollaz, Olivia’s manager) have an all-out verbal war. Three people walk off the set. (One person storms off twice!) Angie tries really hard to get to the bottom of whether Olivia and Darrelle were actually dating in light of the tweet where he stated “No offense to Olivia but we are not dating.” And Mama Jones is still not having it!
