Recently the legendary DMX, fresh out of prison after wrapping up a bid for tax evasion, performed at the legendary Irving Plaza in NYC to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of his classic debut album “It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot”, and of course the GoodFellaz were in the building!
After a bit of a wait (translation: a long wait, lol), the packed crowd finally went into a frenzy when Dark Man X’s signature growl spilled out from the speakers and the Ruff Ryder general finally came on stage to the delight of the fans in attendance. It was a vintage X performance, as he played all his hits, damn near shaking the building with all the energy from the crowd. And of course no DMX show was complete without his signature prayer to wrap things up after the show was finally over.
