It looks like Beyonce is about to get a nice check from Pepsi. It was recently announced that international superstar and all-around smokin’ hot-chick Beyonce just signed on with Pepsi Cola for a $50 million promotional campaign. The new cross-promotional deal will include Pepsi commercials and a tie-in with the release of her next album, which is rumored to be droppin’ in 2013.
The campaign is scheduled to launch after her performance at the Pepsi-sponsored Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans on February 3, where Mrs. Carter will debut her new global TV commercial entitled “Live for Now”. She will also have her own limited-edition Pepsi cans, which will be premiered in Europe March 2013, before hitting the rest of the world shortly after.
In regards to the new venture, Beyonce had this to say about her latest power-move:
“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve. As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”
