Rapper Ja Rule is currently serving a 2 year prison sentence for attempted criminal possession of a weapon. According to reports, the police found a semi-automatic .40 caliber with the serial numbers scratched off stashed in the backseat of his Maybach.
What’s worse is that he has another case pending for tax evasion. He is accused of avoiding to pay tax on $3 Million income. He’s facing another three years for this charge, although his lawyers are expecting to make this sentence run concurrently with his other conviction, meaning both sentences will be served at once. Seemingly another victim of the ever-vigilant Hip-Hop Police, it appears that Rappers can’t seem to get a break.
