One of the pioneers of the New Jersey music scene, DJ Doughboy aka The Doughboy Project has been a constant fixture in clubs throughout the Tri-State for many years. More than just a DJ, Doughboy has produced, written for, and remixed songs for some of the biggest artist in the game; he’s written for Queen Latifah, been Joe Buddens’ tour DJ, produced records for Power 105/Love & Hip-Hop’s own DJ Self, just to name a few accomplishments.
After years behind the scenes, DJ Doughboy recently inked a situation with Smack Productions/Water Music Publishing to finally release a project of his own. “The Doughboy Project” is a fusion of House, R&B, Hip-Hop, and EDM, that is guaranteed to keep the speakers rattling. The R&B heads will love the melodies, The Hip-Hoppers will gravitate to that bottom and the House/EDM fans will recognize the groove.
