Verticals, horizontals, black, white, retro–there are so many stripes that it is hard to keep track. Bold graphics have recently taken over the runways, and that only means that the retail experience for Spring 2013 will include an overwhelming amount of stripes. Brace yourselves, because this ‘megatrend’ will be seen everywhere, from apparel to accessories. It is certainly safe to say that stripes are currently in the forefront of fashion.
Market influences such as Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana, Balmain, and Moschino donned into the wide, duotone stripes in all directions–it’s the key trend for this year’s Men and Womanswear.
