The Queen “B” reigns supreme on the charts once again. International superstar Beyonce’s fourth solo album entitled “4” debuted on the Billboard charts this week at #1, selling over 310,000 copies in first week sales. Ms. Knowles aka Jay-Z’s- wifey is now the 3rd artist in Billboard history to have their first four albums all debut at #1 on the charts; only Britney Spears and rapper DMX can boast this feat.
Although sales for her latest album were much lower than her previous three releases, he first week sales still amount to the third largest sales-week of the year, behind only fellow female artist Adele and Lady Gaga. It looks like Beyonce and the “single ladies” are running things on charts so far this year.
