Adele, one of the newest and most inspirational women in the Industry, has recently been honored with the prestigious “Inspirational Woman Award”.
Not only is Adele killin it on the Soundscan Charts, moving millions of records, she also provides an outlet for millions of women through her music and through her strong sense of self, which has often let her to not conforming to industry standards of beauty. According to the 23 year-old singer, she is not here to be a model, she is here to be known as a Singer.
Based in the United Kingdom, the “Inspirational Women’s Award” is given to the world’s most aspirational, inspiration and stylish women in the world. Other female-heavyweights including Lady Gaga & Alicia Keys were also nominated in the International category.
The ceremony raises money for the ‘Breakthrough Breast Cancer” charity.
