It’s official: International artist M.I.A. has joined forces with Jay-Z & Roc Nation. According to the Roc Nation website, the rapper of “Paper Planes” fame is official on-deck as a management client. M.I.A.’s official signed stirred up quite a bit of excitement across the ‘net, especially when her friend and fellow Roc Nation artist Rihanna tweeted,

“Welcome home MIA” – Rihanna (via twitter)

and put up a photo of herself and M.I.A. on with the caption “Bad Girls do it well” via Instagram.

Along with Rihanna, M.I.A. joins an impressive roster of other Roc Nation artists including J. Cole, Willow Smith and of course, Jay-Z  himself.

The often controversial artist recently stirred up some controversy when she famous flipped the middle-finger at this years Super-bowl half-time show during her performance along-side Madonna & Nicki Minaj. Word-on-the-Street is that M.I.A. is currently in the studio working on her fourth studio album. She recently dropped her new single “Bad Girls” , and according to the Roc Nation website, she is scheduled to drop her new album Fall 2012.
