It seems like T-Boz just cant catch a break. The former-TLC member has recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for the second time in less than a year. According to confidential documents filed in  court, the R&B singer supposedly owes more than $768,000 to various creditors; the bulk of her debt coming from a mortgage on her $1.2 million house. TLC is no stranger to money woes; not long after dropping their classic CrazySexyCool album (which sold over 10 million copies) in the early 1990’s, the group first filed for buckruptcy. and more recently, earlier this year she entered a similar bankruptcy protection filing-claim with the Bankruptcy Court of Georgia, but her motion was dismissed soon after.

Alhough her legendary group TLC have had TEN Top 10 Singles and FOUR multi-platinum albums, court documents reveal that T-Boz currently only earns an average income of $1,200 per month in royalties from her catalog. Even still, it is estimated that Ms. T-Boz’s total assets equal around $1.716 million, and she makes around $11,700 per month in income. So how did she end up bankrupt (again)??

Well recent health-crises including a sickle-cell diagnosis, as well as a brain-tumor scare (which was taking care of with surgery), may have taken a toll on her bank account. Furthermore, according to the singer, she is owed a substantial amount of money including $250,000 in child support from her ex-husband, rapper Mack 10 as well.
