You look at people all you see is the success and everything that comes with it. I guess that’s natural. It’s what’s in front of your face. But everyone has a story. Puffy was an intern running to get coffee and worked his way to becoming Diddy (Or whatever he’s calling himself. His name is always changing. I still call him Puffy). Funk Flex carried crates and begged for gigs before he became the ‘Crown Holder’. Jay-Z opened for Big Daddy Kane and Jaz-O before he became who he is today. Kanye West spent years in the background before he got his shot. And EVEN THEN they didn’t want him to be an artist. (Jersey Sidenote: Kanye used to live in Hallmark House in Newark… True Story.) So when you’re looking at their cars and watches. Think about the price they paid to get there. People walked through long tunnels to get to that light you see them in now.
