Matt Damon links up with Jodi Foster in the summer action film Elysium. In the year 2154, the wealthy live on a man-made space station, a paradise free of disease where people don’t age. Unfortunately the poor live on the ruined Earth where they have to die from disease and look horrible. So Max, played by Matt Damon, takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds. It’s a little predictable. And by that, I mean very predictable. The trailer shows gives this sense of action, that didn’t exist in the movie. Sharlto Copley, from District 9, plays the bad guy, but I have no idea what the hell he’s saying. I felt like I needed closed caption. This movie had a great concept, but poor execution. Screw it, definitely not worth your time.
